This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire.
• Responsible for managing Supplier Quality risk.
• Develops and executes systems for supplier quality evaluation and control.
• Ensures supplier process and product quality, including adherence to contractual, regulatory, and technical standards.
• Engages directly with supplier personnel, possessing the knowledge to evaluate both supplier quality and manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Performs product and process verification activities, tracks supplier quality performance, and facilitates root cause corrective action analysis for quality issues related to suppliers.
• Aids in maintaining the approved supplier list and conducts periodic reviews of supplier performance to assess their continued eligibility for the approved list.
• Oversees supplier requests for waivers, deviations, and the discrepancy reporting process.
• Keeps management informed about supplier performance, quality status, and associated risks.
• Coordinates and supervises the implementation of the Supplier Quality plan throughout all phases of the program.
• Actively participates in supplier evaluation, qualification, and selection during the Business Acquisition Process (BAP) and when new procurements are needed for existing programs.
• Directs the execution of Supplier Quality processes, which include supplier approval activities, source selection evaluations, supplier classification designations (Critical, Key, and Standard), development and execution of supplier quality risk assessments and mitigation plans, as well as the formulation and dissemination of supplier quality requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of Quality experience, OR a Master’s degree with 3 years of Quality experience, or a PhD with 1 year of Quality experience.
• Must possess a valid State Driver’s License to operate a vehicle and have a reliable vehicle for travel to local suppliers.
• Familiarity with AS9100/ISO9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Knowledge of non-conformance and corrective action processes.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance with the capability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access as per business needs.
