Principal Engineer – Substation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Oversee all assigned substation projects from the initial concept stage through to construction and commissioning.

• Collaborate with the Early-Stage Project Manager to assist with engineering requirements and project scope.

• Provide support to Transmission Services during the evaluation of interconnection documentation.

• Acquire engineering consulting resources and coordinate with members of the project team.

• Aid ISC in the creation of Statements of Work (SOW) for all substation projects and support activities related to project commissioning.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil/Structural Engineering is preferred.

• At least 7 years of experience in substation design and engineering for high voltage substation projects.

• Experience in Project Engineering and/or Project Management.

• PMP certification and/or Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in a related field.
