Principal Engineer – Salesforce Architect, Health Cloud

📋 Description

• Take charge of the complete Salesforce Health Cloud solution architecture and implementation for substantial enterprise healthcare projects.

• Oversee the comprehensive technical strategy for Health Cloud, ensuring it is scalable, secure, and compliant with HIPAA/PHI regulations.

• Convert intricate healthcare business needs into scalable solutions within Salesforce Health Cloud.

• Provide guidance to business stakeholders, architects, and senior management regarding Health Cloud's functionalities and best practices.

• Influence architectural decisions spanning Salesforce core, Health Cloud extensions, integrations, data models, and automation processes.

• Define and regulate integration architecture utilizing REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, FHIR, and HL7 standards.

• Lead the processes of requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.

• Review and authorize technical designs to ensure they align with enterprise architecture standards.

• Uphold Salesforce best practices, optimize governor limits, enhance performance, and maintain code quality.

• Conduct design and code evaluations while managing architectural risks and technical debt.

• Mentor and lead Salesforce teams across multiple locations, including developers, administrators, QA, and offshore delivery teams.

• Advise teams on Salesforce security, data access, sharing rules, consent management, and compliance issues.

• Collaborate with program managers to address scope, timelines, risks, and delivery commitments.

• Foster innovation and continuous improvement through proofs of concept, new Health Cloud features, and platform upgrades.

• Engage in roadmap planning, release strategies, and long-term platform development.

• Assist with sprint planning and release management in Agile/Scaled Agile frameworks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of Salesforce Health Cloud, covering Patient/Member Profiles, Care Plans, Care Programs, Care Teams, Health Timelines, Assessments, Care Gaps, and Utilization Management.

• Proven experience in translating healthcare business requirements into scalable Salesforce Health Cloud solutions.

• Practical leadership experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Triggers, Batch Apex, and Salesforce APIs.

• Experience in defining integration architectures utilizing REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, FHIR, and HL7.

• In-depth understanding of EHR/EMR integrations, payer/provider workflows, and patient/member lifecycle management.

• Familiarity with the Salesforce security model, data access, sharing rules, consent management, and healthcare compliance.

• Direct experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools like Copado, Git, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.

• Strong background working in Agile/Scaled Agile environments, encompassing sprint planning and release management.

• Experience in leading and mentoring Salesforce teams across multiple locations, including developers, admins, QA, and offshore delivery teams.

• Exceptional communication, leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Required domain expertise in life sciences and healthcare.
