Principal Engineer – .NET, Azure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Engage proactively and effectively with customers, stakeholders, and the product team.

• Participate actively in the refinement of requirements.

• Keep current with relevant programming languages, tools, and technologies.

• Take part in Agile ceremonies.

• Design, document, develop, refactor, debug, test, maintain, monitor, and support secure, high-quality software applications.

• Lead and engage in design and code reviews.

• Assist in estimation, planning, scheduling, and resource allocation activities.

• Mentor, support, and inspire software engineers of varying skill levels.

• Measure, monitor, and assess our software, processes, and practices.

• Identify potential technical approaches to address business requirements.

• Analyze the root causes of complex software issues and devise solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in the full software development lifecycle (10+ years).

• Proficient in Object-Oriented Programming (10+ years).

• Experience with automated developer testing (5+ years).

• Expertise in .NET Core Web API C# and .NET (10+ years).

• Proficient in SQL / NoSQL (5+ years).

• Experience with major public cloud platforms, preferably Azure (2+ years).

• Knowledge of Docker, containerization, and orchestration.

• Familiarity with software design patterns, including SOLID design principles.

• Understanding of enterprise architecture and integration patterns.

• Experience with source control, Git, and GitHub.

• Knowledge of Javascript, Typescript, or Python is beneficial.

• Experience in developing frontend applications using the Angular framework.
