Principal Engineer, Enterprise Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and implement enterprise capabilities and user-oriented workflows within Orinoco to enhance operations and fundamental business processes.

• Expand Orinoco's platform functionalities to accommodate new enterprise applications.

• Decrease operating expenses by internalizing essential services when appropriate.

• Develop a comprehensive system of integrations between corporate and production settings, ensuring clear data ownership as the source of truth.

• Enhance internal compliance protocols, including documentation, auditing, access controls, and oversight of external system access.

• Safely exchange enterprise data — such as licenses, permissions, and user attributes — with Orinoco.

• Facilitate efficient access to both internal and external data sources, which includes third-party APIs.

• Collaborate closely with HR, Business Systems, Finance, CorpIT, Security, and Technology teams to design and implement comprehensive solutions.

• Provide clear, actionable insights on enterprise metrics, such as request volume, escalations, and workload trends.

• Oversee the implementation of new platforms, automation processes, and technologies that enable Devoted to scale efficiently.

• Automate manual processes related to employee onboarding and offboarding, minimizing administrative workload and ensuring seamless, secure transitions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a software engineer.

• Proficiency in designing scalable and user-friendly platforms that cater to multiple teams.

• Knowledge of Platform-as-a-Service applications and their integration with cloud software.

• Experience contributing to a technology-driven organization while maintaining compliance.

• Skills in designing and publishing APIs.
