📋 Description

• Define and enhance the target architecture for FuzeRx’s primary B2B and consumer platforms.

• Lead the technical roadmap to modernize legacy systems into scalable and cohesive architectures.

• Oversee the design and execution of the most technically demanding projects, including high-volume API integrations and intricate pharmacy fulfillment logistics.

• Act as a mentor and force multiplier for Staff, Senior, and Mid-level engineers.

• Establish and uphold engineering standards throughout the organization, encompassing coding guidelines, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipeline strategies.

• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering Managers, and Pharmacy Operations teams.

• Work alongside the InfoSec team to design systems that adhere to stringent healthcare compliance standards.

• Lead efforts to enhance system performance, minimize latency, and boost database efficiency.

• Continuously assess new tools, frameworks, and AWS services.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Over 10 years of progressive, hands-on experience in software engineering and systems design.

• More than 3 years working at a Staff, Principal, or similar senior architectural level.

• Extensive experience in building and scaling distributed, high-throughput, and highly available B2B SaaS or transactional systems.

• Standard business hours; expected to act as a Tier 1 technical escalation point for critical architectural outages.

• Expertise in modern cloud architectures with substantial, hands-on experience in AWS, PostgreSQL, Ruby on Rails, Python, TypeScript, and JavaScript.

• Knowledge of standard corporate tools (Slack, GSuite, Jira).

• Exceptional communication abilities, capable of conveying complex technical trade-offs to non-technical executives and stakeholders.

• Demonstrated success in designing and implementing complex distributed systems, optimizing intricate relational database queries, and establishing automated deployment pipelines.
