This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Taiwan.
• Act as a customer-facing Technical Support Engineer, concentrating on GF’s mainstream, RF, and advanced node platforms.
• Primarily assist customers with technical challenges that arise during the mixed signal analog circuit design process.
• Serve as the sole technical contact for customers and collaborate with colleagues to coordinate all technical sales interactions.
• Foster long-term, strategic relationships with clients to drive increasing demand for our unique solutions.
• Offer technical solutions to address clients' intricate design challenges and guarantee their success. Prepare customized technical presentations and proposals to aid customers in evaluating our offerings.
• Effectively manage and resolve technical issues in a timely manner to meet design win, tape out, and MPW objectives.
• Represent the client's voice within our internal development teams to enhance and refine the company's enablement solutions and technologies.
• Collaborate with GlobalFoundries product marketing, design solutions, and technology development teams while providing real-time feedback from customers.
• Stay informed about the competitive design, technology, and product landscape, including emerging technology trends and competitive threats.
• Work alongside account and sales managers to ensure a seamless transition to Field Technical Support and Customer Engineering teams post-design win.
• Ensure that any issues, obstacles, or questions related to a design win are addressed directly or by involving internal experts, providing workarounds for successful tape outs, and ensuring first-time silicon success.
• Continuously expand knowledge about the customer and product, building relationships, gathering insights, and identifying new opportunities.
• Master’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) with at least 3-4 years of practical experience in constructing and validating analog circuit design blocks using industry-standard EDA tools such as Cadence Spectre and ADE.
• Familiarity with the Front to Back analog mixed signal design verification process, capable of executing and troubleshooting issues that arise during DC/AC/Transient analysis, Monte Carlo simulations, noise, stability analysis, and harmonic simulations.
• Knowledge of device modeling and proficiency in Unix/Linux/Ocean/Skill programming languages; good documentation skills are a plus.
• Proficiency in English – both written and verbal.
