Principal Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Work closely with stakeholders to identify business challenges and convert them into data-driven problem statements.

• Utilize Large Language Models (LLMs) to extract features from unstructured data (such as text) to improve machine learning models.

• Create and refine SQL queries to manipulate, cleanse, and analyze structured data from a variety of databases.

• Apply basic coding abilities (e.g., Python) for data preprocessing, transformation, and independently executing ML models.

• Design, train, and assess machine learning models, ensuring the appropriate model is chosen for each specific problem.

• Conduct model validation, fine-tuning, and feature engineering to enhance performance.

• Convey intricate analytical results in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in LLMs, machine learning, and AI technologies to integrate new methodologies into solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline is preferred.

• Over 5 years of demonstrated experience in data analysis, SQL query development, and feature engineering for both structured and unstructured datasets.

• Strong expertise in employing machine learning algorithms, including model selection, training, and evaluation.

• Proficient coding skills in Python for data preprocessing, cleaning, and executing machine learning models.

• Exceptional communication skills for presenting insights and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Proven ability to excel in a dynamic startup environment, with a successful track record of leading AI initiatives from conception to execution.

• Capability to formulate and implement a strategic vision for AI within the organization, aligning it with business goals.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, able to articulate complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
