Principal CPA, Director of Tax

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Foster robust client relationships while ensuring their satisfaction.

• Guide and mentor the tax team effectively.

• Prepare tax documents for both individuals and corporations.

• Address client inquiries regarding tax notices.

• Develop tax projections and conduct scenario modeling.

• Investigate federal and state tax matters.

• Support clients in navigating government programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• CPA certification is required.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in public accounting.

• Strong ability to manage client-facing relationships.

• Highly detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.

• Proficiency with cloud-based accounting platforms, preferably Xero.

• Familiarity with leading tax preparation software.

• Experience using project management tools.
