This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee a project team, guiding both coworker and client teams in the design and development of solutions.
• Offer leadership in formulating business cases, justifying financial aspects, and developing solution benefit content for deliverables and presentations aimed at customers.
• Proactively identify and escalate any budget-related issues that arise during the project.
• Ensure Quality Assurance for SOW requests that meet criteria related to size, cross-brand considerations, and complexity.
• Conduct peer reviews of deliverables from colleagues to verify technical content and ensure precision.
• Cultivate client relationships as a reliable Technical Advisor, providing best practices in virtualization, high availability, storage integration, and disaster recovery/business continuity.
• Design, deploy, and integrate VMware Cloud Foundation solutions, utilizing VCF Operations and VCF Automation comprehensively.
• Work collaboratively with sales and solution architects to create customized VCF solutions that meet customer needs.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, with a minimum of 3 years in large enterprise consulting, OR
• 14 years of overall Information Technology experience, including 10 years in IT Infrastructure and at least 3 years in large enterprise consulting.
• Demonstrated skills in organization, time management, problem-solving, and follow-up.
• Capacity to maintain client relationships as a trusted Technical Advisor.
• A valid U.S. driver’s license is mandatory.
• VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) or VMware Certified Design Expert (VCDX) certifications are highly preferred.
• Annual bonus target of 10% subject to the terms and conditions of the plan.
