Principal Consultant, Oracle EPM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive Oracle EPM Cloud implementations, which include Planning, FCC, ARCS, EPCM, FreeForm (Essbase), and EDM/DRM.

• Act as the main client-facing leader during engagements, cultivating trusted advisor relationships with senior finance executives.

• Take ownership of project delivery outcomes, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management.

• Convert intricate business requirements into scalable EPM architecture and configuration designs.

• Guide and mentor EPM consultants and senior consultants.

• Participate in the development of proposals, solutions, business growth strategies, and sales initiatives.

• Create methodologies, accelerators, and reusable resources for the Oracle EPM Practice.

• Keep abreast of Oracle EPM product releases and industry best practices.

• Recognize opportunities to broaden engagement scope and stimulate account growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in implementing Oracle EPM solutions.

• At least 2 years in a leadership or principal-level consulting role that involves direct client interaction.

• Proficiency in Oracle EPM Cloud Planning, as well as one or more of Essbase, FCC, ARCS, EPCM, or EDM.

• Experience in professional services or consulting firms is highly preferred.

• Proven track record in managing complete project lifecycles, from discovery and design to deployment and post-go-live support.

• Capability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to C-suite audiences.

• Experience in leading and developing consulting teams.

• Previous experience with people management is preferred.

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related discipline is preferred.

• An MBA is an advantage.

• Oracle EPM certifications are highly preferred.
