Principal Consultant, Oracle Cloud Financials

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Deliver techno-functional expertise on projects and initiatives that involve Oracle Cloud ERP Financial modules (GL, AR, AP, LA, EX, FA, CM, PPM, and AHCS) as well as their integration with other internal and external boundary applications;

• Ensure that all delivered capabilities are in line with the initial business objectives, application service levels, IT strategies, and design intent;

• Collaborate with the client's Finance and Accounting teams to gather and map business requirements to Oracle Cloud functionality, identify gaps, and offer clients options that align with Oracle Financials best practices while advising on associated risks and value;

• Configure Oracle Cloud ERP during the implementation phase to ensure alignment with the solution design and best practices;

• Organize and lead functional design sessions with multi-regional users and integrate the resulting requirements into a cohesive Cloud ERP system design;

• Create use and test cases to validate the implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP, participate in execution, support the testing team, and address and ensure resolution of test case failures or anomalies;

• Align departmental policies and procedures with Cloud ERP system processes, policies, and procedures within the solution implementation;

• Support IT solutions project execution methodology, report on project progress, and proactively identify and manage issues to resolution.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8-10+ years of experience with Oracle Cloud Financials implementations;

• Bachelor’s degree or higher;

• Comprehensive understanding of operational financial controls and accounting processes, along with in-depth functional knowledge of the Oracle Cloud ERP Financial modules (GL, AR, AP, LA, EX, FA, CM, PPM, and AHCS);

• Experience as a Functional Consultant in Oracle ERP Cloud implementations (minimum of 5 implementations);

• Expert knowledge in financial system integration as well as overall ERP development, testing, and support;

• Experience in facilitating Business Process Workshops, Proof of Concept sessions, Conference Room Pilots, System Integrated Testing, and UAT test case development and oversight;

• Experience in gathering requirements, designing, and implementing General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Lease Accounting, Expenses, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Projects Portfolio Management, and Accounting Hub;

• Experience enhancing financial processes and reporting through ERP;

• Experience in testing and training, particularly in assisting finance and accounting functions in adopting newly defined procedures;

• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with senior and executive stakeholders and influence outcomes.
