Principal Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Drive the acquisition of new business while executing high-impact consulting projects in the telecommunications industry.

• Cultivate client relationships and successfully close deals.

• Oversee complex engagements from start to finish.

• Develop strategies and provide value to clients.

• Propel revenue growth through both new and existing accounts.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of management consulting experience, with at least 5 years in the telecommunications field.

• Demonstrated capability to generate and increase revenue (preferably with targets of $1-$2M annually) from consulting clients.

• Proven experience leading large-scale projects related to 5G, fiber deployment, OSS/BSS, network transformation, customer experience, or digital enablement within the telecommunications sector.

• Established track record of both selling and executing strategic consulting engagements.

• Familiarity with navigating enterprise sales processes and understanding telecommunications client procurement frameworks.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Driven by revenue objectives and accountable delivery.

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

• MBA or an advanced degree is preferred.

• Experience with telecommunications-specific technologies (e.g., OSS/BSS, 5G, AI/ML, cloud platforms) is preferred.

• Knowledge of 5G, fiber deployment, or telecom regulatory frameworks is preferred.

• Familiarity with margin-based compensation structures is preferred.

• Previous experience with a Big Four or boutique consulting firm is preferred.
