This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +12 more states.
• Deliver outstanding leadership while cultivating a culture centered on high engagement, accountability, and exceptional client service.
• Build and maintain client relationships, along with strategies aimed at generating new revenue and expanding the client portfolio within the nonprofit sector.
• Act as the Client Relationship Manager for large and intricate engagements.
• Bring in-depth subject matter expertise and experience with compensation consulting methodologies applicable to both executive and staff projects.
• Engage in and contribute to successful marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and create content tailored for specific markets.
• Present at conferences and association gatherings, and author articles and white papers.
• Oversee the efforts of team members across client engagements and project teams to ensure effective planning, organization, and management of strategic initiatives.
• Acquire a thorough understanding of the nonprofit industry.
• Participate in all facets of client engagements, taking charge of multiple compensation consulting projects.
• Establish and maintain strong client retention and high levels of client satisfaction.
• Recognize new opportunities to connect with clients, generate leads, draft project proposals, and create statements of work.
• Evaluate and provide recommendations on the design and administration of executive and employee compensation programs to meet business objectives and effectively manage the workforce.
• Supervise the analysis of total compensation programs for executives and employees, including evaluating findings and formulating recommendations.
• Synthesize complex data and information into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Design, structure, and deliver reports, presentations, and other client deliverables.
• Offer leadership, analytical support, and creative solutions for technical work that is vital to the success of our client engagement teams and practice.
• Manage complex projects within set budgets and monitor the overall success of the client experience.
• Collaborate effectively, influencing colleagues at all levels by adhering to the firm’s standards, procedures, and methodologies.
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in a business-related field or possess an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Have fifteen years or more of experience in executive and staff compensation consulting.
• Display a passion for serving organizations that aim to improve the world; prior experience with these clients is advantageous.
• Exhibit a passion for assisting organizations in addressing complex compensation challenges.
• Demonstrate proficient problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Possess solid technical knowledge and experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Maintain open and effective communication channels with clients and teams, offering constructive feedback to help associates develop their skills and growth opportunities.
• Present facts, analyses, and conclusions/solutions effectively, showcasing a command of content while considering the audience's perspectives and interests.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable language.
• Write clear project communications, documents, and presentations with suitable levels of technical detail and complexity.
• Exhibit excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage and execute tasks in a high-pressure, fast-paced, and rapidly changing environment.
