This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a senior commercial pharmaceutical subject matter expert for Datavant’s Life Sciences go-to-market team, emphasizing pre-sales solutioning, customer discovery, and strategic opportunity development.
• Collaborate with Client Partners, sales leaders, and solutions consultants to enhance customer discussions across commercial analytics, market access, patient services, healthcare marketing, and digital/ad tech use cases.
• Lead discussions with pharmaceutical clients to gain insights into their business goals, stakeholder priorities, available data assets, privacy requirements, operational limitations, and desired outcomes.
• Convert customer objectives into Datavant solution strategies that utilize privacy-preserving linkage, tokenization, data connectivity, real-world data partnerships, and health data exchange infrastructure.
• Design and articulate solution methodologies for use cases such as patient journey analytics, launch planning, commercial analytics aggregation, adherence and persistence insights, market access evidence, medical affairs insights, provider targeting, omnichannel measurement, and privacy-preserving media activation.
• Assist clients in understanding how Datavant can unify internal and external data assets within the healthcare ecosystem to deliver comprehensive, actionable insights on patients, providers, products, and markets.
• Develop executive-ready narratives that express the business value, feasibility, privacy posture, implementation pathway, and anticipated impact of connected data strategies.
• Support intricate enterprise pursuits by crafting solution hypotheses, shaping proposals, identifying risks, testing scope, and aligning internal teams around a credible and persuasive approach.
• Work with Product and Partnerships to pinpoint market needs, solution gaps, customer feedback, and opportunities to transform demand into scalable Datavant offerings.
• Create reusable go-to-market resources, including solution playbooks, discovery guides, use case narratives, customer-facing materials, objection handling, case studies, and sales enablement tools.
• Serve as a liaison between commercial teams and technical, product, privacy, and delivery teams to ensure customer-facing solutions are engaging, credible, feasible, and operationally executable.
• Represent Datavant in strategic customer workshops, executive briefings, industry forums, conferences, and thought leadership opportunities.
• Remain informed about trends influencing commercial pharma data strategy, such as real-world data adoption, healthcare media networks, clean rooms, first-party data strategies, privacy-preserving collaboration, tokenization, AI-enabled analytics, and the evolving life sciences data ecosystem.
• Over 10 years of relevant experience in life sciences, pharmaceutical commercial strategy, commercial analytics, market access, healthcare data, real-world data, digital health, healthcare marketing, omnichannel marketing, or a related area.
• Comprehensive understanding of life sciences companies, particularly biopharma organizations, and their data utilization across commercial, medical, market access, analytics, and evidence generation functions.
• Experience in pre-sales support, enterprise solutioning, strategic consulting, customer advisory, business development, or complex commercial partnerships with pharmaceutical or healthcare clients.
• Strong expertise in real-world data and linked data use cases, including the integration of claims, EHR, lab, mortality, specialty pharmacy, patient services, consumer data, digital engagement, and first-party enterprise data to support commercial business decisions.
• Strong commercial acumen, including the ability to identify high-value use cases, understand buying centers, shape compelling value propositions, support revenue growth, and advance complex opportunities.
• Proficient in leading senior customer conversations, uncovering business needs, framing solution alternatives, and guiding clients from broad aspirations to concrete, actionable use cases.
• Ability to distill complex technical, data, and privacy concepts into clear business language for commercial, medical, analytics, and executive audiences.
• Highly consultative, hands-on, and collaborative, with a strong capability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with Google suite of productivity applications, including Sheets, Slides, and Docs, along with Salesforce.com or similar CRM tools.
• Self-driven, capable of taking initiative, working efficiently and independently, and thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
