Principal Cloud and AI Security Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• The Principal Cybersecurity Architect plays a pivotal role in shaping the enterprise-wide technology security strategy and offers technical expertise to business units and project teams, focusing on the implementation of cutting-edge security technology solutions.

• A demonstrated history of achievements and experience in leading the design and deployment of AI architectures (both On-Premise and in the Public Cloud) while facilitating and implementing Secure Cloud Adoption on an enterprise level from foundational security controls to cloud migrations.

• Significant experience in migrating from a large-scale on-premises data center to the cloud, ensuring the maintenance of appropriate security, compliance, and regulatory standards.

• Acting as a bridge between data scientists, engineers, AI Architects, Cloud Architects, Data Protection professionals, legal teams, and executive leadership.

• Advocating for secure-by-design principles in AI and Cloud projects.

• Leading security teams and establishing governance frameworks for the adoption of AI and Public Cloud technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of relevant experience as an Architect working on increasingly complex IT and Cybersecurity projects.

• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience in an IT-related discipline.

• Required Licenses and Certifications: CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional, to be obtained within 180 days.

• Expert-level proficiency in creating architectural designs for progressively complex systems.

• Advanced consulting, negotiation, communication, consensus-building, presentation, and facilitation skills.

• Mastery of various hardware platforms, including mainframes, distributed systems, desktops, and mobile devices.

• In-depth knowledge and experience with current and emerging technology solutions and trends, including security and regulatory industry requirements.

• Proven decision-making abilities related to architecture and design implementation.

• Familiarity with Project Management Methodologies.

• Extensive understanding of development practices concerning security technologies.

• Exceptional leadership capabilities demonstrated through project or technical leadership experience.

• Expert ability to comprehend overall IT strategy and apply/implement it in designated projects/initiatives.

• Proficient in communicating complex technical information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.

• Extensive experience with concepts like defense in depth, trust levels, privileges, and permissions.
