This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with business and project owners to comprehend business requirements.
• Possess an extensive understanding of clinical trials and their corresponding deliverables.
• Create specifications for ETL data pipelines in accordance with the SDLC process.
• Design, develop, test, and implement ETL data pipelines.
• Design, develop, test, and implement Validation Checks.
• Design, develop, test, and implement Data Models.
• Oversee the maintenance of ETL data pipelines while enforcing data governance, security, and data protection.
• Troubleshoot ETL data pipelines and debug erroneous code.
• Monitor and enhance the performance of ETL data pipelines.
• Conduct tests on data outputs to ensure their usability.
• Assemble large, complex datasets that fulfill business requirements.
• Prepare data outputs for manipulation by downstream applications and users.
• Design and construct the necessary infrastructure for optimal ETL data pipelines from a diverse range of data sources utilizing SQL and other technologies (such as R or Python).
• Assist in the development of analytics tools that leverage data to provide actionable insights into operational efficiency and other essential business performance metrics.
• Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to address data-related technical challenges and support data requirements.
• Demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director, Clinical Data Architect.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with ETL data pipelines.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with SQL and relational databases.
• At least 2 years’ experience with the SDLC.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience with clinical trial data in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors.
• At least 2 years’ experience with APIs.
• Familiarity with CDISC SDTM, SDTMIG, and other applicable CDASH standards is preferred.
• Over 3 years’ experience with Oracle Life Science Data Hub (LSH).
• Over 3 years’ experience with Oracle Data Management Workbench (DMW).
• Over 3 years’ experience with Oracle Clinical Data Analytics (CDA).
• Over 3 years’ experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
• Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE).
• Familiarity with BI platforms (such as Spotfire, PowerBI, etc.) is a plus.
