This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Enhance the total cost of ownership while managing supplier risk.
• Execute the category management process, which includes spend analytics, strategy formulation, negotiations, and partner engagement.
• Strategically plan, align, and collaborate with partners to achieve savings aligned with annual and multi-year savings objectives, Average Payment Terms (APT), and spending strategies for designated categories.
• Oversee spending through competitive analysis, leveraging creation, and professional negotiations to obtain optimal cost, quality, and service.
• Utilize tools and techniques to analyze, benchmark, and research supply chain risks and trends.
• Determine the partner's budget and demand for category management sourcing strategies.
• Collect feedback from partners through Voice of the Customer (VOC) satisfaction surveys.
• Design and execute the Operating Management System (OMS).
• Collaborate with the Operational Pillar (Buyers) and the Commercial Indirect Pillar (Indirect Sourcing Leads) to ensure the successful implementation of agreed-upon category strategies.
• Lead RFP/RFQ processes, including bid analysis, supplier evaluation, qualification, selection, development, contract formulation, and negotiations, encompassing master service agreements.
• Conduct supplier relationship management, including monitoring service level agreements and KPIs.
• Organize quarterly business reviews with preferred suppliers and oversee action plans.
• Enhance company financial performance through sourcing initiatives, supplier communication, quality improvement, payment term negotiations, value stream mapping, supply chain optimization, and ongoing improvement projects with suppliers.
• Assist in the implementation of change management projects.
• Adhere to export control regulations to ensure compliance with corporate policies.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in supply chain management.
• 2-3 years of sourcing and/or category management experience.
• Proven experience in leading supplier evaluations, selection, negotiations, contracting, and implementation.
• Knowledge of contractual terms and conditions such as indemnification, intellectual property, and force majeure.
• Global category management experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with Systems and Cost Savings Tracking Systems (Wave) is an advantage.
