Principal Biostatistician – Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise research staff within the designated area, ensuring they receive orientation and training in standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• In partnership with the department's administrative leader, take charge of recruitment initiatives, including the initial screening of biostatistical candidates.

• Offer statistical guidance to fellow biostatisticians, covering suitable methods for study design, sample size calculation, and the creation of data collection instruments.

• Foster professional relationships through frequent and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Guarantee a fair distribution of workload and resource allocation.

• A Master's Degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related discipline.

• Strong interpersonal skills along with management and leadership capabilities.

• Proven excellence in statistical methodologies.

• Proficiency in standard statistical software.

• Knowledge of database packages to facilitate optimal data extraction and usage.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
