Principal Biostatistician, FSP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Independently lead statistical activities for designated Clinical Trials (Phases 1 to 4) from protocol design through to results reporting.

• Act as a representative of the Statistics function on cross-functional trial teams (and potentially indication/project teams) and engage effectively with all stakeholders.

• Supervise internal programming efforts and/or contributions from CROs related to assigned clinical trials and additional activities.

• Provide contributions to or take the lead on various statistical activities as suitable, including but not limited to Safety Reporting, ISS/ISE, responding to inquiries from Health Authorities, and Publications.

• Utilize SAS and/or R for tasks such as quality control of datasets and deliverables, conducting inferential statistical analyses, modeling/simulation, and exploratory analyses.

• Engage in and contribute to other initiatives at Cytel or on the sponsor side as appropriate.

• Provide oversight for junior Statisticians as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in statistics or a related field.

• Over 9 years of experience supporting clinical trials within the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology sectors.

• Ability to operate independently, exhibiting initiative and flexibility through effective and innovative leadership.

• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance, alongside excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a collaborative approach.

• Proficient in SAS programming for quality control of critical outputs, including Efficacy/Safety tables, while working closely with Programmers.

• Familiarity with R programming (R Shiny/Python).
