This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Develop and implement strategies for modernizing applications across legacy platforms and user experiences.
• Design and advocate for architectures that prioritize API-first, microservices-first, and event-driven approaches.
• Offer architectural guidance and mentorship to Team Leads and engineering teams.
• Assess current systems to formulate migration strategies, conduct risk evaluations, and define target architectures.
• Collaborate with clients and business leaders; confidently deliver proposals and negotiate technical solutions with challenging stakeholders.
• Establish and advocate for enterprise-wide architecture standards, best practices, and governance procedures.
• Assist in integration efforts involving legacy ESBs and contemporary integration platforms.
• Over 7 years of experience in Telecom, Contact Center, Customer Experience (CX), or similar large-scale enterprise settings.
• Strong expertise in successfully transitioning legacy systems to modern, cloud-native architectures.
• Profound technical knowledge in:
• - API-first architecture principles
• - Microservices patterns
• - Event-driven and distributed systems
• Practical experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS, but also Azure or GCP). A cloud certification is highly recommended.
• Understanding of modern frontend and user experience (UX) frameworks to ensure seamless end-to-end solutions.
• Nice to Have: TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification.
• Practical experience with Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) platforms.
• Extensive knowledge of contact center technologies and customer engagement software.
