Apigee Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the API strategy, architecture, and governance for enterprise integration projects.

• Design, architect, and implement API management solutions utilizing Google Apigee (X, Hybrid, or Edge).

• Establish API standards, governance frameworks, and best practices for the enterprise.

• Create API proxies, shared flows, and custom policies for effective traffic management, security, mediation, and caching.

• Execute API security measures, including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, API key validation, mTLS, and threat protection.

• Transition legacy integrations to Apigee while modernizing the API ecosystem.

• Develop CI/CD pipelines for API deployments using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Maven, and Terraform/Apigee CLI.

• Set up monitoring, analytics, and alerting through Apigee Analytics and Google Cloud Monitoring.

• Offer technical leadership and mentorship to the integration development team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in the field.

• Proficiency in JavaScript.

• Knowledge of Python.

• Familiarity with Java.

• Experience with Terraform.

• Skills in Jenkins.

• Understanding of CI/CD processes.

• Experience with GitHub Actions.

• Proficient in using GitHub.

• Knowledge of REST APIs.

• Familiarity with OAuth.

• Understanding of JWT.
