This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Design and develop extensive data center infrastructure solutions, encompassing network, storage, compute, and security elements.
• Formulate and convey the technical strategy and roadmap for data center initiatives, ensuring alignment with the broader organizational goals.
• Spearhead project planning, execution, and delivery, effectively managing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Supervise cross-functional teams, including engineers, vendors, and stakeholders, to ensure successful project completion.
• Perform thorough technical assessments and feasibility studies to determine data center needs and optimization possibilities.
• Ensure all data center designs adhere to industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and best practices.
• Mentor and support technical teams, promoting a culture of ongoing learning and technical excellence.
• Analyze and enhance data center performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness through innovative approaches.
• Assess emerging technologies and propose adoption strategies for data center modernization.
• Manage vendor relationships and assess third-party solutions for data center infrastructure components.
• Over 10 years of professional experience in data center architecture, infrastructure design, or similar technical positions.
• Established leadership experience in managing and mentoring technical teams of various sizes.
• In-depth knowledge of data center design, deployment, and operations.
• Strong understanding of networking, storage, and compute systems architecture.
• Proven project management experience with large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Solid grasp of cloud technologies, virtualization platforms, and hybrid environments.
• Proficient in analyzing complex technical requirements and formulating scalable solutions.
• Exceptional organizational and strategic planning capabilities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
• Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks (ISO 27001, ANSI/TIA, Uptime Institute).
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent networking/infrastructure credentials.
• Knowledge of data center sustainability, energy efficiency, and eco-friendly technologies.
• Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud infrastructure architectures.
