This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the technical delivery strategy on significant, multi-disciplinary projects encompassing data engineering, data visualization, data governance, and AI.
• Coordinate a cohesive solution strategy across capability leaders, addressing sequencing, dependencies, and shared standards.
• Take ownership of the structure, sequencing, staffing, and risk mitigation of work across projects.
• Proactively identify delivery risks and take corrective actions when projects deviate in approach, quality, or coherence.
• Drive the maturation of practices from assessment to the establishment of adopted standards.
• Create delivery standards, reusable accelerators, templates, engineering practices, and flexible delivery methodologies.
• Establish talent acquisition and engagement practices, which include interview standards, calibration, skills inventory, workforce visibility, and engagement health.
• Develop scoping and advisory frameworks that link delivery, presales, and the PMO.
• Create assessments for data and AI capabilities, learning pathways, and internal decisions informed by data practices.
• Utilize AI tools and agentic patterns to enhance the speed, consistency, and quality of consulting delivery.
• Assess the impact of AI on delivery economics and integrate proven methodologies into standards and accelerators.
• Mentor architects and consultants across various disciplines regarding delivery strategies, consulting judgment, and technical decision-making.
• Influence the priorities of technical leads when cross-practice coherence, engagement risk, or practice maturation necessitates it.
• Collaborate with Principal Architects from other delivery teams to ensure consistent delivery and ongoing improvement.
• Assist presales activities through scoping, effort modeling, technical strategy, and SOW contributions.
• Travel to SHI, partner, and customer locations and events as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of ten years delivering enterprise data or AI solutions, including significant consulting or professional services experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in data engineering, data visualization, or data governance.
• Working knowledge in at least two of the following areas: data engineering, data visualization, and data governance.
• Experience in advancing a practice capability from assessment to established standards.
• Proven experience leading technical delivery across multiple disciplines on large or intricate projects.
• Practical experience in utilizing AI to transform delivery team operations, including measuring outcomes.
• Hands-on delivery experience within the Microsoft data and AI ecosystem, including Microsoft Fabric, Azure data services, Power BI, Microsoft Purview, Copilot Studio, or Microsoft Foundry.
• Exceptional facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, particularly with executive audiences.
• Capability to work effectively through influence rather than formal authority.
• Experience in supporting presales through scoping, effort modeling, technical strategies, and SOW contributions.
• Familiarity with DORA capabilities and their relevance to data and analytics delivery.
• Experience serving clients in regulated industries or the public sector.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications may include PL-300, DP-600, DP-700, DP-750, GH-300, GH-600, or AI-901.
• Willingness to travel to SHI, partner, and customer locations and events.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with sales, delivery, engineering, and leadership teams.
