Principal AI Security Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Design and implement the AI Technical Strategy: Collaborate with enterprise account teams to take ownership and execute the technical sales strategy, steering complex, high-value AI security opportunities from discovery through to closure.

• Provide Engaging, High-Impact Demonstrations & POVs: Customize and deliver outcome-oriented demonstrations of Zscaler’s AI security platform that resonate with both technical experts and C-level executives. If necessary, guide customers through successful demonstrations and points of view to confirm Zscaler’s capability to securely facilitate enterprise AI.

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert: Serve as the authority in the field on contemporary AI patterns (such as RAG, agents, and prompt workflows), advising clients on methods to prevent sensitive data exposure and unauthorized AI usage.

• Expand the Field Motion: Work alongside Product and Engineering to incorporate real-world customer insights into the product roadmap, while creating reusable demonstration assets and enablement playbooks to enhance our global sales force.

• Empower Colleagues: Create reusable demonstrations, technical resources, competitive positioning, and enablement content to facilitate the scaling of Zscaler’s AI field motion while sharing best practices and conducting training for enterprise account teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Profound Knowledge in AI/GenAI: Possess a strong foundational understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), MCP (Model Context Protocol) orchestration patterns, and the associated security risks.

• Over 10 Years of Solutions Engineering Expertise: Demonstrated success in a customer-facing technical role (Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Technical Advisory) managing complex, enterprise-level sales cycles.

• Strong Foundations in Enterprise Security: Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity principles, including Zero Trust architecture, data loss prevention (DLP), cloud-native security platforms, and API integrations.

• Superior Executive Communication: Outstanding presentation and storytelling abilities, with a proven capacity to effectively convey complex AI architectures into tangible business value and security outcomes.

• Collaborative and Supportive: Successfully engage in cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and other go-to-market teams in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
