This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Deliver subject matter expertise in cloud architecture and cloud infrastructure engineering to both IT and business teams.
• Work collaboratively with Product Management, Architecture, Software Engineering, and Infrastructure teams to implement DevOps processes and tools.
• Convert technical requirements into business requirements and communicate potential risks to stakeholders ranging from business leaders to engineers.
• Develop high-level and low-level design diagrams and workflows.
• Present architectural designs and concepts to senior leadership and technical teams.
• Collaborate with Reliability Engineering teams to deploy cloud-specific monitoring tools.
• Oversee the process from design, implementation, cutover, hyper care, to operational transition.
• Engage in problem-solving, troubleshooting, and providing level 3 engineering support for infrastructure and applications.
• Create target-state architectures and establish enterprise platform strategies for scalable, secure, and business-oriented cloud and AI solutions.
• Mentor product and engineering teams in delivering cloud and AI solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 8 years of experience in infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, and software engineering.
• Proven experience in cloud engineering and formulating enterprise-level cloud strategy and architecture.
• Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale migrations to Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Experience in delivering Azure Cloud projects with accountability for deliverables, technical and architectural oversight, delivery methodologies, and performance metrics.
• Familiarity with automation and best practices in cloud application modernization.
• Knowledge of enterprise network design, including segmentation models, encryption, logging, and monitoring.
• Experience with firewalls, network authentication controls, and both Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Proficiency with logging and monitoring tools such as Splunk, New Relic, Logstash, CloudTrail, or similar.
• In-depth understanding of Azure and/or requisite experience with AWS.
• Strong expertise in CI/CD practices, infrastructure automation, and automation for application build and deployment.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for container-based images and Kubernetes services.
• Understanding of DNS/DDI and network management.
• Competence in tools such as Terraform, Ansible, GitHub, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar.
• Knowledge of cloud security architectures for cloud and hybrid systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, communication, presentation, architectural articulation, and leadership abilities.
• Capability to collaborate with teams of various technical expertise and experience levels.
