This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Become a key member of our vibrant and expanding team at HSP Group as a Principal AI Engineer.
• In this position, you will spearhead the integration of AI within the engineering domain — crafting agentic workflows, developing RAG systems, and mentoring engineers to become architects of intent instead of merely code writers.
• You will collaborate directly with technology and engineering leadership to prototype and implement AI-driven solutions, transforming business challenges into scalable architectures from proof-of-concept to full production.
• You will work closely with Engineering management, Product, CX, and other business stakeholders to provide secure, scalable, and customer-focused AI solutions.
• Demonstrated success in advancing beyond basic LLM chat interfaces to implement complex agentic frameworks that automate multi-step engineering processes.
• Experience in architecting RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems and sophisticated prompting strategies to equip agents with the high-fidelity codebase context essential for precise planning and execution.
• Background in evaluating or utilizing AI-enabled engineering tools and workflows, along with a passion for experimenting with and leveraging emerging AI technologies.
• Proven experience in leading a cultural shift where engineers perceive agents as enhancers rather than replacements, promoting a transition from manual "gatekeeping" to a "co-pilot" approach.
• Extensive hands-on experience in building and supporting B2B SaaS products within a cloud-based environment.
• Proven track record in leading engineering delivery for production applications, encompassing architecture, design, development, and operations.
• A practical, results-oriented mindset with strong technical judgment and a commitment to staying engaged with the work.
• Experience in managing and supervising third-party engineering partners or vendors.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure, along with contemporary development and deployment practices.
• Comprehensive understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies, with the capability to apply both strategically and practically.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and maintain team alignment.
• Ability to articulate complex AI concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• A leadership role in a dynamic and rapidly growing company that fosters a culture of respect and inclusivity.
• The chance to be part of a team that is influencing the future of a fast-expanding organization.
• A competitive compensation package, benefits, and stock options, along with the flexibility to work remotely.
