Principal AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Address significant challenges within product and internal systems, pinpointing opportunities where AI or automation can deliver tangible benefits.

• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to comprehend issues, clarify objectives, and determine the most effective approach.

• Create practical, comprehensive solutions encompassing architecture, technical plans, and production-ready systems.

• Develop systems that incorporate LLMs, integrations, and complex or agent-based workflows.

• Produce high-quality production code, develop prototypes, and refine them into reliable, scalable solutions.

• Shape technical direction across teams, establish best practices, and assist others in effectively adopting AI.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in software engineering.

• Proficient in system design and backend engineering.

• Experience in creating and delivering AI / LLM-based solutions.

• Capability to transition from problem definition to architecture to implementation.

• Familiarity with automation, workflows, or agent-like systems.

• Hands-on mindset and readiness to write production-level code.

• Strong engineering judgment, including the ability to discern when not to utilize AI.

• Proficient in both Polish and English (minimum C1 level).

• Experience collaborating across teams and influencing technical decisions.

• A sense of curiosity, ownership, and a desire to apply AI in practical scenarios.

• Nice to have: Experience with TypeScript and Node.js (our primary stack), or a willingness to work extensively in this environment.

• Experience with AI in developer tooling or internal systems.

• Knowledge of agentic systems or orchestration frameworks.

• Experience with production systems, focusing on performance, reliability, and scalability.
