Pricing Actuary – Motor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• In the role of Motor Pricing Actuary, you will provide pricing and portfolio analysis services for the UK and the rest of Europe (excluding France).

• Your primary goal is to ensure profitability and enhance technical portfolio management through effective pricing strategies, performance assessments, and practical recommendations.

• You will work with a significant degree of independence, taking full responsibility for projects from the analysis phase and recommendations through to deliverables that are ready for committee evaluation and implementation.

• You will oversee projects that include new contract pricing, optimization of current portfolios, pricing tools and technical resources, as well as partner evaluations and committee interactions.

• You will generate comprehensive, audit-ready deliverables suitable for governance purposes, including pricing documents and recommendations, analyses of portfolio performance, committee presentations, and quantified outputs accompanied by minimal documentation to facilitate reuse and handover.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in Motor pricing, particularly within European markets and/or the UK.

• Familiarity with the Italian and/or Spanish markets is a significant advantage.

• Experience with Akur8 is highly desirable.

• Strong actuarial and analytical capabilities, with the proficiency to produce solid, decision-quality analyses.

• Ability to create outputs suitable for committee review, including structured narratives, clear assumptions, quantified impacts, and traceability.

• Comfortable collaborating with stakeholders across Risk, Reinsurance, and Data, and adept at translating technical findings into actionable insights.
