This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Facilitate the fulfillment of client-mandated compliance requirements, which include criminal background checks, drug screenings, educational and employment verifications, health assessments, and onboarding documentation.
• Oversee daily background checks and provide status reports to fulfillment offices and candidates.
• Engage directly with clients to influence upcoming starts, remove barriers, and adjudicate findings.
• Recognize patterns in delays and devise alternative solutions.
• Collect supporting documentation to resolve discrepancies and accelerate clearance processes.
• Review completed requirements and assess eligibility for placement.
• Digitally archive requirements for audit purposes.
• Track turnaround times within assigned client portfolios and raise opportunities for process enhancements.
• Conduct program support tasks such as focus groups, collaborative meetings, and special projects.
• Maintain and refresh program tracking logs.
• Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in background verification, customer service, or a comparable high-volume customer service role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong grasp of customer service and/or technical support principles.
• Capability to engage and communicate with customers at various levels of expertise.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Organizational skills for team collaboration.
• Successful completion of a background check is a prerequisite for employment.
