Pre-Sales Engineer – UK

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Lead and implement technical Proofs of Concept (PoCs) with prospective clients and partners.

• Serve as the technical authority in addressing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), including crafting detailed technical proposals and aligning VMRay solutions with client needs.

• Provide technical training and support to both customers and partners.

• Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and workshops customized for specific use cases across all levels.

• Collaborate closely with Sales, Product Management, Customer Success, and Engineering teams to ensure positive customer experiences.

• Represent VMRay at security conferences, trade shows, and community events globally.

• Act as a trusted consultant to clients regarding malware analysis, threat detection, and Threat Intelligence.

• Collect field intelligence to influence product strategy and roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Security, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 5 years of direct experience in cybersecurity, ideally in technical consulting or solution engineering roles.

• Strong understanding of malware analysis, threat hunting, incident response, and Threat Intelligence.

• Experience with RFP responses and the preparation of thorough technical documentation.

• In-depth knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux), including their administration and security features.

• Excellent presentation and communication skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Proficient in both spoken and written English.

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% within the designated region and internationally.
