This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan, +1 more state.
• Engage proactively with clients as a trusted advisor to comprehend their security challenges and needs.
• Collaborate with sales teams to provide pre-sales support.
• Present and clearly communicate the Presidio security value proposition to clients.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate advancements in the industry and technology.
• Define requirements, solutions, and value propositions to transition to Solutions Architects.
• Create security solution profiles for key accounts and identify important influencers and decision-makers.
• Conduct security training sessions to enhance the security capabilities of the outside sales team.
• Gather current market information regarding pricing, products, services, and delivery schedules to monitor competition.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work or military experience.
• 5-10+ years of experience in IT Security and/or Managed Security Services.
• Technical expertise in security technologies such as Firewall, Network IPS, SIEM, DLP, and Cloud Security.
• Familiarity with security products including Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Cisco, Splunk, McAfee, and Symantec.
• Professional security-related certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, GIAC are highly preferred.
• A working knowledge and understanding of GRC and Offensive Security consulting services is highly desirable.
• Experience in a pre- or post-sales role within an information security context is advantageous.
