This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Oversee client billing processes, revenue distribution, usage tracking, and associated administrative tasks by preparing transactions and monitoring operational metrics.
• Assist with payment application and collections procedures.
• Aid in the management of fee schedules and pricing-model-based allocations.
• Keep track of revenue-by-client reporting and monthly forecasts.
• Support monthly expense monitoring, profit and loss reporting, and financial analysis tasks.
• Manage financial allocation and recategorization processes.
• Assist in commission calculations and entries into financial systems.
• Oversee billing systems, including client setup, payment structures, and relevant reporting components.
• Provide assistance with financial modeling, forecasting, and operational planning activities.
• Create and maintain ongoing financial and operational reporting processes.
• Aid in tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and monitoring performance.
• Examine trends and pinpoint opportunities for enhancing operational effectiveness.
• Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards and reporting tools.
• Offer support for ad hoc operational and financial analyses.
• Generate reports that provide insights into practice performance and resource utilization.
• Manage operational workflows and support systems, including FreshDesk and similar tools.
• Maintain client lists, mailing lists, and reconciliation processes for usage data.
• Organize internal documentation, policies, and knowledge repositories.
• Uphold operational controls and ensure process consistency throughout the practice.
• Assist with Concur and expense management protocols.
• Address staff inquiries and operational requests related to practice resources and workflows.
• Provide operational and administrative assistance across various practice functions as required.
• Oversee trackers for contracts, amendments, invoices, and implementations.
• Facilitate release note communications and client engagement activities.
• Support documentation and follow-up activities for meetings.
• Assist with ticketing and other client management tools.
• Help with formatting and editing client-facing documents in PowerPoint, Word, and Adobe, as well as training materials.
• Provide support for client-related conferences, newsletters, and surveys.
• Introduce and refine processes aimed at improving efficiency, standardization, and collaboration by identifying recurring tasks and developing scalable solutions to optimize workflows.
• Create and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures for the product group.
• Utilize AI-enabled tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT) to enhance workflow efficiency and productivity and to improve team effectiveness while ensuring accuracy in results.
• Act as the operational "glue" connecting finance, client services, product development, and leadership teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, operations, or a related discipline is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, business operations, accounting, or a similar field.
• Experience in supporting a consulting practice or department through budgeting, financial reporting, forecasting, or operational analysis activities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must.
• Familiarity with Power BI, reporting tools, or financial systems is preferred.
• Experience with AI tools to enhance efficiency and workflow effectiveness is preferred.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for immigration support or sponsorship from Milliman now or in the future.
