PR & Media Relations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

• Perform media research and create targeted media lists.

• Assist with media outreach and the preparation of press materials.

• Track media coverage and engage in industry discussions.

• Organize PR campaigns and communication initiatives.

• Work collaboratively across teams to enhance client success.

• Utilize AI and emerging technologies in a thoughtful manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in public relations, communications, media relations, journalism, marketing communications, or a similar field.

• Experience in supporting media relations, earned media campaigns, or communication programs.

• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading abilities, with a talent for adjusting messaging for diverse audiences and channels.

• Experience in developing or assisting with press releases, media pitches, briefing documents, and other communication materials.

• Strong research capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Ability to handle multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines at the same time.

• Familiarity with media monitoring, media databases, and reporting tools.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

• Agency experience is preferred.

• Experience in healthcare and/or regulated industries is strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with AI-driven research, monitoring, and content tools is an advantage.

• A proactive approach, intellectual curiosity, and a passion for storytelling.
