PowerBI Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and implement engaging visual reports and KPI scorecards utilizing Power BI Desktop.

• Build comprehensive semantic models, establish data connections, and enforce data filters or row-level security (RLS).

• Compose and refine complex DAX formulas while optimizing report performance for extensive datasets.

• Collaborate with various business units to identify reporting requirements, collect business needs, and promote BI adoption.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience with BI Platforms: Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Power BI (Service, Desktop, and Report Server).

• High-level expertise in SQL (T-SQL) and DAX.

• Proficient in Power Query / M-code.

• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Azure (Synapse, Data Lake), Microsoft 365, and Power Automate.

• Capable of crafting complex calculations, time-intelligence functions, and performance-optimized measures.

• Skilled in writing relational database queries, views, and stored procedures to retrieve source data.

• Experienced in designing efficient data architectures using Star Schema principles, facts, and dimension tables.

• Proficient in extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from various sources (SQL databases, APIs, ERP/CRM systems) with Power Query.

• Adept at selecting appropriate chart types, organizing layouts, and applying color theory for visually effective dashboards.

• Responsible for managing workspace permissions, data gateways, scheduled refreshes, and Row-Level Security (RLS).
