PowerApps, Data Visualization Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain PowerApps applications to streamline workflows and improve operational processes.

• Create, sustain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and data models utilizing Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or other visualization tools.

• Collaborate with end users and technical teams to effectively understand and integrate data outputs into visualizations.

• Convert complex data findings into clear, digestible insights for stakeholders to facilitate data-driven decision-making.

• Guarantee data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reports and dashboards.

• Identify key data attributes (e.g. financial, biometric, personnel-based) essential for performance analysis and trend identification.

• Conduct training sessions for CBP and contractor personnel on data analysis tools and methodologies as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience working with large datasets using Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or other similar dashboarding tools.

• Demonstrated experience in developing PowerApps solutions for business process automation and data integration.

• Strong proficiency in PowerApps and Power BI (or another comparable dashboard tool) is essential.

• Strong proficiency in Excel is also required.

• Experience with Power Automate and SharePoint is preferred.

• Excellent communication abilities to gather requirements, present solutions, and translate complex data findings into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field; certification in Power Platform or data analytics tools is a plus.

• Must be a U.S. citizen and capable of passing a background investigation by the client agency.

• DHS clearance with CBP/ICE or DoD Top-Secret is preferred.
