Power Trader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage in trading financial and physical power products within the North American wholesale power markets.

• Formulate and execute trading strategies leveraging the company’s trading platform.

• Recognize and enhance trading advantages with the assistance of analysts, engineers, and quantitative analysts.

• Collaborate directly with key decision-makers in an entrepreneurial trading environment.

• Take part in training and knowledge-sharing activities, including travel as required.

• Possess an entrepreneurial mindset and strong analytical skills.

• Ability to excel under pressure in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Experience in trading within North American wholesale power markets, whether financial or physical.

• Familiarity with one or more major markets, such as PJM, ERCOT, or MISO.

• Comfort with data analysis and interpretation.

• Proficiency in SQL and Python is a significant advantage.

• Fluent in both spoken and written English.

• Willingness and eagerness to travel for training and knowledge-sharing purposes.
