Power BI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development and upkeep of BI solutions utilizing Power BI.

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide effective reporting solutions.

• Create dashboards and reports drawing from SQL Server, Salesforce, and various other data sources.

• Aid in the maintenance of structured data models employing fact and dimension tables.

• Verify data accuracy and support the resolution of discrepancies.

• Oversee Power BI Service operations such as data refreshes, access management, and workspace administration.

• Offer end-user assistance and maintain comprehensive documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with Power BI, encompassing report creation and data visualization.

• Strong understanding of DAX, Power Query, and fundamental data modeling concepts.

• Proficient SQL skills, including the ability to write and optimize queries in T-SQL.

• Basic knowledge of data warehousing principles and ETL processes.

• Experience working with multiple data sources.

• Excellent communication abilities and capability to engage with non-technical stakeholders.

• Outstanding verbal and written English proficiency.

• Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms is a considerable advantage.

• Familiarity with contemporary data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or Snowflake is a significant asset.

• Experience with APIs, Python, or automation tools is a notable advantage.

• Understanding of CI/CD practices is a considerable benefit.
