Power BI Developer (Mid-level)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and enhance analytical solutions and applications pertinent to the corporate setting.

• Design and execute processes for data loading, transformation, and integration.

• Generate queries to support reports and analytical dashboards that facilitate decision-making.

• Construct and uphold dashboards and reports using Power BI.

• Ensure the quality, integrity, and reliability of the provided information.

• Monitor and enhance the performance of databases, ETL processes, and Power BI reports.

• Offer production support and maintenance for BI solutions.

• Implement best practices for governance, security, and documentation within analytical environments.

• Assist business users in utilizing and interpreting corporate metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced experience in semantic data modeling.

• Development of interactive dashboards and reports.

• Proficiency in DAX (measures, calculated columns, tables, KPIs, and performance indicators).

• In-depth understanding of filter context and row context.

• Skills in performance optimization, particularly in tuning DAX expressions.

• Effective modeling considering cardinality, relationships, and filter direction.

• Proficiency in Power Query (M Language) for creating and maintaining data transformation flows.

• Experience with SQL Server and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).

• Advanced T-SQL skills, including the creation and optimization of complex queries (SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE).

• Development and maintenance of views, stored procedures, and triggers.

• Differentiators include experience in data architecture (Data Warehouse, Data Lake); knowledge of dimensional modeling best practices (Star Schema, Snowflake); experience in enterprise environments with large data volumes; and experience in integrating multiple data sources.
