Power BI Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Create and develop interactive dashboards and reports utilizing Microsoft Power BI to aid in business decision-making.

• Convert raw data into valuable insights using Power Query, DAX, and SQL.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to collect reporting requirements and transform them into effective data visualizations.

• Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data across reports by implementing thorough validation and testing procedures.

• Enhance the performance of Power BI solutions and resolve issues related to data connectivity and report rendering.

• Participate in the conceptual design of reporting solutions and data models.

• Work autonomously to manage reporting tasks and deliverables according to project timelines.

• Maintain and improve existing Power BI solutions to adapt to changing business needs.

• Assist in the integration of data from PostgreSQL, Python-based ETL pipelines, and other sources.

• Document reporting processes, data flows, and technical specifications for future reference and knowledge sharing.

• Keep abreast of Power BI updates and best practices to continually enhance reporting capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of practical experience with Microsoft Power BI.

• Proficient in Power Query and SQL.

• Experience in GUI development is a plus.

• Strong analytical abilities, a solution-focused approach, and the capacity to work independently.

• Familiarity with conceptual design and reporting architecture.

• Excellent grasp of data and data modeling principles.

• Independent and organized working style.

• Experience with PostgreSQL and Python is advantageous.

• Proficient command of English, both written and spoken.
