This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Oversee the design, development, maintenance, and enhancement of Power BI dashboards, reports, and data solutions.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to convert reporting requirements into scalable BI solutions.
• Set and uphold standards for Power BI development, data modeling, reporting definitions, dashboard design, and documentation.
• Create and manage data models, relationships, calculations, and measures.
• Develop and optimize complex DAX measures, Power Query transformations, and SQL queries.
• Evaluate dashboards, data models, and reporting solutions for accuracy, performance, usability, and consistency.
• Monitor report performance, scheduled refreshes, and data dependencies.
• Investigate intricate data and reporting issues and determine effective solutions.
• Streamline reporting processes, minimize manual operations, and automate recurring reporting tasks.
• Support data quality initiatives and reporting governance.
• Offer technical guidance and conduct quality reviews across reporting and data activities.
• Maintain documentation for data models, reports, data sources, calculations, standards, and reporting procedures.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned at the position level.
• Over 5 years of experience in Power BI development, business intelligence, data analytics, reporting, or a related data-centric role.
• Extensive hands-on experience in designing and developing complex dashboards and reporting solutions using Microsoft Power BI.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
• Strong SQL skills across various data sources, including extraction, analysis, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in designing and maintaining scalable data models and structured reporting solutions.
• Proven experience in leading or providing technical direction in BI, reporting, or data-related projects.
• Background in establishing or enhancing reporting standards, data quality practices, and technical documentation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to engage stakeholders, comprehend business priorities, and translate requirements into feasible technical solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, including the ability to articulate technical and data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple reporting initiatives and competing demands.
• Capacity to work independently and provide technical leadership within an offshore support model aligned with Australian business hours.
