This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.
• Ensure that every dataset is validated for plausibility, completeness, and consistency prior to construction — identify outliers, gaps, and unlikely distributions.
• Consider large 'Other,' 'Unknown,' or null categories as findings to scrutinize, rather than defaults to ignore.
• Align metrics with operational realities; if any figure diverges from stakeholder observations, pause and investigate.
• Record data quality discoveries and accompany each dashboard with a written disclaimer and note on limitations.
• Constructively challenge requests based on faulty assumptions — inquire before proceeding with construction.
• Create and manage Power BI dashboards tailored for executive, director, and departmental audiences utilizing DAX, Power Query (M), and robust data modeling techniques.
• Establish connections between Power BI and source systems through native connectors, REST APIs, ODBC, SQL, and file-based extracts.
• Develop and oversee automated dashboard refresh processes; quickly troubleshoot any failures.
• Monitor and report on clinical outcomes, admissions conversion rates, marketing effectiveness, revenue, and alumni engagement.
• Convert leadership's business inquiries into dashboards that facilitate decision-making — not merely visual displays.
• Document data sources, transformations, refresh schedules, and logic to ensure the work is transferrable.
• Create ad hoc reports with well-documented methodologies and assumptions.
• Regularly audit data quality across source systems.
• Engage in scheduled calls during Arizona business hours; adhere to deadlines without the need for daily supervision.
• Strictly comply with all HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and Horizon information security protocols.
• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Health Informatics, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in building production Power BI dashboards utilized by business leadership, with verifiable references.
• Microsoft certification preferred (PL-300 Power BI Data Analyst Associate or equivalent).
• Documented experience integrating Power BI with at least three distinct source systems (e.g., CRM, EMR/EHR, survey platform, financial system).
• Proven ability to identify and rectify data quality issues.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum of 50 Mbps down / 10 Mbps up), backup power, and a secure private home workspace.
• Capacity to consistently work 40 hours per week in alignment with Arizona (Mountain Time) business hours.
• Readiness to sign a BAA, Independent Contractor Agreement, and NDA prior to gaining system access.
• Completion of HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 training (with certificate) before system access; annual renewal is mandatory.
• Use of an encrypted device, MFA, VPN, prohibition of local PHI storage, and no personal cloud storage — full adherence to the company’s information security policy.
• Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.
• Opportunities for professional development and continuous learning.
• Flexible work arrangements to promote work-life balance.
• Comprehensive health and wellness benefits.
• Collaborative and inclusive work environment.
