Post Closing Compliance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Operate remotely, five days a week, overseeing all activities related to post-closing compliance audits and reviews.

• Evaluate closed loan files for thoroughness, precision, and adherence to investor and regulatory requirements.

• Detect, monitor, and address post-closing compliance issues, exceptions, and deficiencies.

• Draft and amend documents such as Post Consummation Closing Disclosures and Cover Letters as necessary to ensure alignment with company and investor standards.

• Liaise with borrowers and third parties to resolve post-closing challenges and obtain any missing documentation.

• Guarantee timely submission of response documents related to compliance findings.

• Keep precise records by scanning and uploading documents into the loan origination system.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending, post-closing, or loan operations is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of post-closing procedures, TRID, Section 32 High Cost, Section 35 Higher Priced Mortgage Loans, and Ability to Repay.

• Prior experience in auditing loan files and resolving post-closing issues or deficiencies with Third Party Review firms.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities, along with the capacity to handle multiple deadlines.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a talent for collaborating across teams.

• Capability to work independently as well as within a team-oriented environment.

• Familiarity with loan origination systems (e.g., Encompass) is preferred.
