This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
• Develop and spearhead a portfolio-level marketing strategy and brand management that consolidates LivaNova’s cardiopulmonary products into a distinct and compelling value proposition for hospital clientele.
• Establish and uphold integrated portfolio value propositions and core messaging that effectively convert individual product advantages into an engaging system-level narrative.
• Collaborate with product marketing teams to synchronize product-specific strategies with overarching portfolio stories, ensuring consistency while maintaining depth and differentiation.
• Design customer-facing portfolio tools and content (e.g., value decks, economic narratives, playbooks) customized for clinical, economic, and executive hospital stakeholders.
• Lead the creation of economic and outcomes-based narratives, addressing total cost of ownership, utilization efficiency, workflow impact, and long-term value.
• Facilitate strategic account and IDN engagements by promoting cross-product discussions and long-term planning dialogues that transcend individual purchasing decisions.
• Work alongside sales, corporate accounts, service, and communication teams, as well as external partners, to ensure consistent reflection of portfolio value messaging across commercial strategies, field tools, and customer interactions.
• Identify avenues to enhance portfolio differentiation, including bundled messaging, coordinated launches, and integrated product positioning.
• Provide marketing management for all Cardiopulmonary service products personally.
• Foster and nurture strong relationships with key opinion leaders and emerging thought leaders to shape strategy and stay ahead of market developments.
• Monitor and analyze market trends, proactively refining strategies and sharing insights to steer organizational focus and market opportunities.
• Track the progress of key initiatives, evaluate impact, and propose options for improvement.
• Operate within LivaNova's Ethics and Integrity framework and adhere to all industry guidelines to ensure compliance in all activities.
• Take responsibility for additional tasks and initiatives as required.
• Proven ability to influence without direct authority, aligning product marketing, sales, communication, and service teams.
• Comfortable acting as a connector across teams, ensuring consistency while honoring product-level detail.
• Experience in translating complex concepts—such as total cost of ownership, service life, and long-term value—into clear and persuasive narratives.
• Capable of collaborating effectively within teams that are dispersed across various locations.
• Willingness to travel regularly domestically (~25-30%) and internationally (1-2 times per year).
• Ability to comprehend scientific facts and convey them into a cohesive communication model for customers and sales personnel.
• Strong analytical and financial skills to organize complex information into clear frameworks and business cases.
• Excellent project management capabilities, with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and developing new programs.
• Proficient in communicating effectively with healthcare professionals.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
• Ability to prioritize under pressure and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Capability to meet hospital credentialing requirements.
