Portfolio Strategist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Participate in the continuous evaluation of our games portfolio across intellectual properties, genres, business models, and risk profiles, identifying potential avenues for growth and diversification.

• Perform analyses on the gaming market, competitive environment, consumer behaviors, and technological advancements to aid senior leadership in directing the future of gaming.

• Develop and sustain portfolio models through various iterations, ensuring our games portfolio aligns with investment objectives while balancing risk and returns.

• Assist senior strategists and executives with data and analysis that guide decisions on current portfolio performance versus prospective opportunities.

• Manage specific strategic workstreams and projects concerning high-impact subjects, executing them with oversight from senior team members.

• Work collaboratively with studio and production teams to assess the portfolio compatibility and economic viability of game development initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of pertinent experience in strategy, product management, or analytics within the gaming sector, or in management/strategy consulting.

• Strong understanding of the gaming industry coupled with knowledge of the wider media and entertainment landscape.

• Demonstrated sense of ownership with the capability to independently manage tasks and drive projects to completion.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to convey findings clearly to diverse audiences.

• Proficient in financial modeling and experienced in utilizing mathematical models and statistical methods.

• Adept at creating clear, polished deliverables, including PowerPoint presentations and Excel models.
