This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Achieve the sales quota for ICU (market-leading disposable) Infusion Therapy, Oncology, and Specialty products within the designated territory.
• Develop exceptional presentation abilities and possess comprehensive technical knowledge of the ICU product line, ensuring effective communication with Hospital Clinicians regarding FDA, CDC, SHEA, INS, ONS, ASHP guidelines, etc.
• Understand the strengths and weaknesses of competing products in the market, positioning ICU Medical’s offerings strategically against them from a clinical perspective. Serve as the clinical expert and consultative problem solver for clinical and supply chain contacts in the field.
• Familiarize yourself with the assigned territory, customer base, contracts, pumps, solutions, distribution models, and more.
• Conduct product trials and facilitate the implementation of all ICU products.
• Stay informed about the market and the clinicians within it through local AVA, INS, APIC, and ONS chapters.
• Maintain open communication with managers and align sales activities with both Company and regional objectives.
• Participate in special projects as they emerge.
• Occasionally work on weekends or nights as required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is mandatory.
• A minimum of 3 years of sales experience with a proven success record is required, preferably in medical device sales, with established relationships in key regional health systems, and experience in needle-free infusion therapy products and services.
• Demonstrated success in meeting quotas and driving growth within the territory, as well as developing existing customer relationships with Supply Chain.
• The position requires active and current compliance with all credentialing requirements, including COVID-19 vaccination, to fulfill the essential functions of your role at customer locations.
• This role is field-based.
• Work can be conducted from a home office equipped with standard office equipment, as well as on-site at customer locations.
• While performing job duties, the employee may need to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, depending on customer requirements.
• As part of employment, the employee must possess a valid driver’s license and comply with the criteria outlined in the Authorized Driver Policy to drive on behalf of the company.
• Typically requires travel exceeding 50% of the time.
