Polymer Sourcing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Sourcing Polymer (PE, PP, PVC) by formulating a comprehensive business plan that encompasses procurement, revenue, and expense management.

• Establishing new supplier partnerships, optimizing sourcing volume, and strengthening business relationships.

• Timely and accurate maintenance and reporting of sourcing and procurement data.

• Gaining insights into suppliers' end markets and their procurement strategies.

• Engaging in continuous communication with internal counterparts in various countries to ensure prompt and accurate solutions that enhance efficiency.

• Expanding the company's presence in the polymer sector by participating in relevant industry conferences and company meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited institution (preferred).

• A minimum of 5 years of domestic sourcing and exporting experience within the polymer industry (required).

• Demonstrated experience in exporting locally sourced US products to Europe, Latin America, Asia, and other regions.

• Sourcing experience with chemical distribution companies (preferred).

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for business purposes.

• Capability to generate new opportunities and translate sourcing strategies into concrete outcomes.

• Resourceful and persistent in identifying potential clients and suppliers.

• Outstanding communication skills.
