Polymer Sourcing & Exporting Specialist – PE, PP, PVC Trading

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Sourcing polymers (PE, PP, PVC) by formulating a comprehensive business strategy that encompasses procurement, revenue, and expense management.

• Cultivating new supplier relationships, optimizing sourcing volumes, and strengthening business partnerships.

• Timely and accurately maintaining and reporting sourcing and procurement data.

• Gaining insights into suppliers' end markets and their procurement approaches.

• Engaging in ongoing communication with internal colleagues in different countries to ensure prompt and precise solutions that enhance efficiency.

• Expanding the company's footprint in the polymer sector by participating in relevant industry conferences and corporate meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited institution (preferred)

• A minimum of 5 years of domestic sourcing and exporting experience within the polymer industry (required)

• Demonstrated experience in exporting US locally sourced products to regions such as Europe, Latin America, and Asia.

• Sourcing experience in chemical distribution companies (preferred)

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for business purposes

• Proven ability to identify new opportunities and translate sourcing strategies into measurable outcomes

• Resourcefulness and determination in identifying potential clients and suppliers

• Strong communication capabilities
