Polyglot Engineer, Laravel/VueJS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain high-quality features utilizing PHP (Laravel) and Vue.js (essential).

• Produce clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

• Participate in and guide architectural decisions to ensure the platform scales efficiently with increasing usage.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate AI-driven functionalities into application workflows.

• Promote best practices such as SOLID principles, TDD, and conduct comprehensive code reviews.

• Implement strong security measures, ensuring data privacy, secure APIs, and appropriate data isolation.

• Enhance application performance across database queries, backend processing, and frontend rendering.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional full-stack development experience.

• Extensive hands-on experience in PHP (Laravel) and Vue.js — essential.

• In-depth expertise in the PHP (Laravel ecosystem) - including Queues, Jobs, Events, and Eloquent ORM (with pros and cons).

• Strong proficiency in Vue.js (preferably Vue 3), State management (Pinia or equivalent), and Tailwind CSS.

• Advanced understanding of MySQL or PostgreSQL, with a solid grasp of: Schema design, Indexing, and Query optimization.

• Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs; GraphQL experience is a plus.

• Strong knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, DNS, with a clear understanding of the request lifecycle.

• Profound understanding of SOLID principles, practical experience with design patterns, and the ability to create scalable and maintainable systems.

• Solid knowledge of Redis queues: Internal workings (beyond just usage), job lifecycle, retries, and failure handling.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes (basic understanding).
