Polish Translation, Localization Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Providing high-quality translations for written materials, including new releases, marketing content, support knowledge base articles, and other customer-facing documents.

• A flexible mindset and a proactive attitude are crucial, as there may be last-minute adjustments to source materials.

• Strong organizational abilities are required to effectively manage both short-term and long-term projects, while being able to reprioritize workloads as necessary.

• Exceptional communication skills are needed in a collaborative, team-oriented work setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts degree or an equivalent qualification. A focus on translation, localization, linguistics, or game design is advantageous.

• Native proficiency in Polish with outstanding grammar capabilities.

• Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English communication.

• Relevant experience in the gaming industry to ensure accurate translation of content within a gaming context.

• Preference for candidates with experience in professional translation/localization, particularly in games and technical documentation.

• Strong organizational and prioritization skills are essential.

• A team-oriented translator who enjoys collaboration and can adapt to tight deadlines.

• Familiarity with computer-assisted translation tools such as Crowdin, MemoQ, Memsource, SDL Trados, or Wordfast is required.

• Comprehensive understanding of various Operating Systems (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android).

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, SharePoint).
